Maria V. Ionita, MD

Dr. Ionita is board certified in neurology. She earned her medical degree from  

Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. She completed her residency at JFK Neuroscience Institute and Jersey City Medical Center. In addition to serving as chief resident, she was part of several clinical trials and involved in research. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Medical Association, and the Romanian Organization Against Epilepsy (affiliated with the International League Against Epilepsy).
