The HealthSouth Mid-America Rehabilitation Center is an 80-bed facility that offers inpatient and outpatients services to brain and spinal cord injured patients from both Kansas and Missouri. Both programs focus on developing an individualized program that helps a patient cope, as well learn compensatory skills for now and the future.

The HealthSouth Mid-America Rehabilitation Center incorporates some of the newest technologies into its program, including the AutoAmbulator, a device designed to help patients who have difficulty walking.

The HealthSouth Mid-America Rehabilitation Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), as well as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
