Founded in 1982, Shake-A-Leg is a non-profit organization that provides outpatient rehabilitative services to people of all ages who have experienced spinal cord injury and other disabling neurological disorders.

There are two main programs that people can participate in. The Confidence is Cool Day Camp is for children and teens, and has a mission of helping participants gain the confidence to lead the most independent life possible. The Adaptive Sailing Program is available for people of all ages, and is geared toward helping participants gain additional function and independence by pushing—and moving beyond—their own boundaries.
