Northern Colorado Rehabilitation
Northern Colorado Rehabilitation offers rehabilitation to spinal cord injury and brain injury patients, as well as to patients with other disabling conditions. Both inpatient and outpatient therapy is offered.
Joseph P. Jacob MD, Medical Director
Dr. Joseph Jacob comes to Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital from Medford, New Jersey, were he was chief for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Attending Physiatrist for Virtua – West Jersey Health System. He also was the Associated Medical Director for Mediples Rehabilitation Hospital in Marton, New Jersey and the President of the Garden State Rehabilitation Medicine. He is a Diplomat of American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and a Certified Independent Medical Examiner.
Samuel Laney, MD, Assistant Medical Director
Dr. Laney received his undergraduate degree from California State University San Bernardino. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. His residency was completed at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver where he specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Prior to attending Medical School, Dr. Laney was a finish carpenter and cabinet maker having completed an apprenticeship in the Carpenters Union. His transition to the medical profession with a focus on Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation was fueled by his desire to heal patients using a “head to toe, practical, functional and holistic approach.”
